Parents and children are invited to attend the Open Day at The Kilmore International School on Wednesday 18 March 2015 from 10:00am – 12:00pm. The Open Day is also the school’s “International Day”. As well as various curriculum displays and presentations, the school will also showcase the many different cultures and nationalities of the students and staff in the school. Many students wear national dress, cook their local cuisine and prepare displays and performances including Bollywood dancing, the traditional Chinese lion dance and much more.
The Kilmore International School was established in 1989 and is celebrating its 25th year this year. The Kilmore International School is a boarding and day school of 400 students and currently offer Year 3 through to Year 12. The school has a family atmosphere where girls and boys from Melbourne, country Victoria and from around the world become part of a close-knit learning community.
The Kilmore International School has an impressive record of academic success and many of the graduates attend leading universities throughout the world. In Years 11 and 12, all students study for the International Baccalaureate Diploma.
