Emerging and established female artists who submit their entries into the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize by 1 March go in the draw to win a $1000 art supplies gift voucher. All media is accepted and there is no theme – artworks must best reflect the intentions of the artist’s practice. To enter and for details including the T&Cs visit

There are three prize categories: the Professional Artist Prize of $35,000 — the highest value art prize for women in Australia, the Emerging Artist Prize of $5000, and a new prize, the Indigenous Emerging Artist Prize of $5000.

The Art Prize was launched in 2017 to advance art and opportunity for emerging and established female artists in Australia. If you are an artist, consider entering the Art Prize or you may wish to forward this email onto artists you know who may be interested in entering.

Entries close at midday (Daylight Saving Time Eastern Australia) on 18 March 2020.
