Established in 1953, Strathfield Girls High School provides a complete, comprehensive education for all students and has a 93 per cent Language Background Other Than English student population.
Facilities: Tennis court, hockey field, basketball courts, assembly hall, commercial kitchens, up-to-date science laboratories, a dance/drama space, gym, modern library with study centres and audio-visual areas, and excellent technology facilities.
Sport: Grade and recreational sports are offered; this includes taekwondo, yoga, dance, archery, bowling and cardio boxing among other options.
Extra-curricular activities: There is good scope for creative interests for students with musical, visual arts, dance or drama talent. Options include a symphony orchestra, Junior and Senior choir, woodwind, drums, guitar and string ensembles, art clubs, as well as dance and drama ensembles.
