PENRITH CHRISTIAN SCHOOL (PCS)

Established in 1985, Penrith Christian School provides a
comprehensive and distinctly Christian education for a diverse range of
students from Preparatory (Pre-School) to Year 12. The school provides
opportunities for students to develop across the academic, social, physical and
spiritual domains. Special programs are offered for students with special and
remediation needs, as well as gifted and talented students. A dedicated team of
professional staff work collaboratively towards providing a safe and supportive
environment for students, in order that they may attain their potential as
personal learners. The school has a strong connection with “Missions” with
links to both overseas and local organisations providing service opportunities

relaxed setting on 12.5 hectares near the Northern Road exit of the M4
Motorway. The school offers state-of-the-art air-conditioned facilities
including spacious classrooms and general learning areas, computer labs, music
and recording studio, creative arts and drama studio with kiln and small
theatre, photography darkroom with access to digital media, library, auditorium
with stadium seating up to 1000 people, food technology and hospitality lab,
textiles room, wood and metal technology workshop, trades centre, science labs,
senior study room, canteen, all-purpose hall and fitness centre, sports oval,
basketball and tennis courts, grass and sealed netball courts, Prep–Year 2 play

Sport: Penrith Christian School is passionate about sport and values
the benefit it brings to the general wellbeing of students. The school
endeavours to provide a rich and varied sports program in conjunction with the
structured skill development program offered through Personal Development,
Health and Physical Education. Cross-country, swimming and athletics carnivals
provide opportunities to participate at local, zone and state levels.

Extracurricular activities: Band, Before-and-After-School Care
including Vacation Care, camps, chess, choir, community service, debating, dance
eisteddfod, drama, mission trips, photography, technology, tuition including
English, mathematics and science.

Welfare and personal development: Penrith Christian School is
committed to student welfare, the building of a strong community, and to developing
strong Christian character in students. Programs include Life Skills (Prep to
Year 10), Daily Pastoral Care and Devotion (Years 7 to 12) and Weekly Chapel
