Murrumba State Secondary College opened its doors in January 2012, welcoming its first cohort of Year 7 and 8 students. Located in the growing and vibrant area of Murrumba Downs, the College features first-class learning facilities and surrounds.

Murrumba State Secondary College is proud to be the first state school in Queensland to welcome Year 7 students into a secondary setting. Its students study the Australian Curriculum, which is taught by supportive and highly-skilled teaching staff.

Facilities: Administration building, 3 general learning buildings, staff centre, specialised science and applied technology centre, specialised information services centre, specialised food technology centre, purpose built canteen and uniform shop, 2 general learning buildings, Specialised Music, Art and Performing Arts buildings, 2 new staff centres, and specialised movement studies and sports centre.
