The state-of-the-art boarding facilities at The McDonald College in Sydney attract students from all over Australia, and internationally. Designed for contemporary, independent living, the accommodation lodges up to 45 girls from Year 7 to 12.
Many of the students currently residing in the Boarding House are dance and ballet students from regional NSW and interstate. With on-site proximity to the college and After-Hours Program, students are able to have their day and after-school needs meet all in the one place.
With a focus on integrative and creative learning, students are able to focus on both their academic studies and performing arts training within their school day (8.30am- 4.40pm). With two hours a day devoted to the performance stream of their choice (Acting, Ballet, Dance, Music, Musical Theatre or Elite Tennis), students are able to receive on-site training within their school day, freeing up valuable hours for study, social interactions, family and personal time.
The McDonald College Boarding House creates a safe and supportive environment where students can grow academically, socially, physically, morally and emotionally. It also encourages independence and responsibility, preparing students for life after school and into the future.
