Kinross Wolaroi School: Empowering Students with Excellence in Education and Diverse Co-curricular Opportunities

Hero

A leader in education for over 130 years, with 1100 students from Pre-Kinder to Year 12 and 350 boarders, Kinross Wolaroi School is one of Australia’s largest co-educational boarding schools.

Boarding is available from Year 7 and boarders make up 40 percent of the senior school, hailing from both city and country NSW, as well as interstate. The school offers co-ed boarding with boys and girls accommodated on separate campuses.

Boarding in the country is more affordable than most city schools. With Sydney only a 45-minute flight from Orange and easy road, rail and bus connections, getting to and from school is simple. A visit to beautiful Orange to watch school sport and spend some time together is fun and easy for parents. As part of the thriving school community, our students and their families join a group of people with a common commitment to excellence in education. Whether you come from the city, a regional town or a rural district, our students and families will all play a role in sharing your child’s journey through school.

Our co-curricular programs are diverse and engaging, designed to ensure participation in activities such as music, drama, sport, community service and outdoor adventure. Extra-curricular choices include debating, cadets, the Duke of Edinburgh Award, musical ensembles, private music tuition, annual school musicals and so much more. Along with all of the traditional sport options, the school also offers very successful swimming, rowing and triathlon programs.
