CGGS TO CELEBRATE A CENTURY OF EDUCATING YOUNG WOMEN

2020 marks a major milestone for Camberwell Girls Grammar School. In February, the school will turn 100 and throughout 2020 will celebrate a century of educating young women.

While the school has changed remarkably since 1920, it has remained faithful to the inspiration and courage of its founder, The Reverend Hubert Brooksbank. This is reflected in the school’s commitment to its motto, Utilis in Ministerium and in also in its commitment to supporting young women in becoming equal partners in shaping lives, shaping society and shaping the future.

During the school’s Centenary year, CGGS will honour its past, look forward to the future and celebrate many wonderful occasions with its extensive community. Together new memories will be created and connections strengthened. CGGS will reinforce its identity and most importantly, celebrate 100 continuous years of providing an outstanding education for young women.

The school will provide an opportunity for everyone to be a part of something unique. After all, we only turn 100 once!

CGGS encourages you to join the school on a School Tour in 2020.
