2021 SIS Public Speaking Championship

Cornish College is so proud of the students who represented them at the 2021 SIS Public Speaking Championship.

The championship, awarded to the highest-scoring school, was won by Cornish College. Each of the speakers was simply sensational and the synergy demonstrated within the team was wonderful to observe.

Marli, Year 7 and Harrison, Year 8 won the Junior Division, with Marli taking home the award for best speaker. Madi and Declan from Year 8 entered their first competition in the Intermediate Division and ‘rose to the challenge’. Year 11 student Jake and Will, Year 12 were also successful, winning the Senior Division.

Jake and Will were fantastic mentors to their younger peers, encouraging them throughout the competition.
