The King’s College community came together last term for a fantastic day of fun, generosity and fundraising in support of FightMND.
Students and staff added a splash of blue to their uniforms, enjoyed Zooper Doopers at lunchtime, and eagerly gathered to watch some of our brave staff members take on the Big Freeze Ice Bucket Challenge.
The event was organised by two Year 4 students, Rosie and Chloe, whose passion, initiative and enthusiasm inspired many families to support FightMND through the purchase of merchandise. Their dedication helped raise both awareness and valuable funds for this important cause.
The atmosphere throughout the Big Freeze event was filled with laughter, excitement and a wonderful sense of community. It was encouraging to see students of all ages getting involved, learning about the impact of Motor Neurone Disease and supporting an important cause that is making a real difference in the lives of many Australians.
Events like these remind us that when a community comes together with a shared purpose, even the smallest acts of kindness can have a meaningful impact.
Together, we demonstrated the caring spirit of our school community and showed that by working together, we can help bring hope to those affected by MND.
