Boarding at Caulfield Grammar School

A caring and connected learning environment is at the heart of Caulfield
Grammar School’s boarding experience.
Caulfield Grammar provides rural and
international students with innovative learning programs in a thriving boarding

community for Years 9 to 12 girls and boys. An emphasis on specialist teachers and coaches, as well as a broad range of learning experiences, helps students prepare for their future with confidence, courage and capability.

The school accommodates girls and boys in separate boarding houses, and they share recreational and dining facilities along with accessing outstanding Caulfield Campus facilities.

“We want our boarders to feel as supported and comfortable as possible. “The dining room is the central hub, providing high-quality, nutritionally balanced meals and a sense of community. Boarders also have access to a dedicated 24/7 health service staffed by registered nurses.” – Tim Gallop, Caulfield Grammar’s Head of Boarding

With an emphasis on fostering a strong sense of personal responsibility and
achieving potential, students choose from extensive academic learning programs and
co-curricular activities such as Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, Dance, Sport, community service and leadership programs. Teachers offer after-hours tutoring as well as support with critical tasks such as VCE preparation and strategies. Caulfield Grammar’s pastoral care program supports the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each student.

The importance of family is also a key element of the school’s approach.

“Family involvement is something really central for us. Our Boarding Orientation Program, regular updates, and an active Boarders Parents & Friends group support families and foster connection and communication.

Families are welcome to get in touch for a private conversation or personal tour.
