KADINA MEMORIAL SCHOOL


The school consists of 1036 students and over 130 teaching and support staff, supported by structuring sub school learning teams, these being: Early Years, Primary, Middle, Senior, Flex/Flo and our disability unit.

Facilities: Tech Studies, Art and Resource Centre, Administration Centre, offices, data projectors, kayaks and tents, 400m running track, canteen, 2 ovals, bitumen play surface and four areas with climbing and play equipment, high level certificate training in Hospitality, Building and Construction and Automotive.

Subjects/Electives Years 7 to 10: Art, Music, Tech Studies, Home Economics, Design and Technology, Agriculture, Information Technology, Metal Technology, Wood Technology, Automotive Technology, CAD/CAM, Fitness and Sport, Sport and Recreation, Outdoor Education.

Sport: SAPSASA and SSSASA (swimming, netball, basketball, softball, athletics, football, cricket, hockey and tennis), annual sports day, inter-school athletics carnival.

Extracurricular activities: Visual and Performing Arts, school bands, drama performances, art displays, Christmas Twilight Assembly, combined schools Choir Festival.

Welfare and personal development: Student care group, school counsellors, a part time Christian Pastoral Support Worker, DECD Centre of Excellence programme and Community Mentoring programme.

Special features: Agriculture, Information Technology, Music, Outdoor Education, Physical Education, Sports, Certificate 1 & 11 courses, VET courses. A Disability Unit is co-located on the Kadina Memorial High School campus.
