Holland Park State High School is a boutique high school, selected by discerning parents making a deliberate choice of a smaller high school for their children. Signature programs such as Triple E excellence classes produce outstanding academic outcomes for students. The High Performance Volleyball program has delivered National Championship winning teams, while tailored programs for elite athletes have enabled them to combine their studies with international diving and gymnastics competitions, including the Olympic and Commonwealth Games. Creative programs in Music, Art and LOTE (Japanese and German) attract considerable interest.

Subjects/Electives Years 7 to 10: The Junior Secondary curriculum at Holland Park State High School reflects the national curriculum focus in Maths, English, Science, History and Geography.

Sport: Holland Park High participates in the South District sports competition. Students are eligible for selection in the South District teams and Metropolitan East regional teams. Interschool sport takes place on Wednesday afternoons against other local high schools in summer and winter.

Extracurricular activities: Jazz, pop, classical, rock and roll – the student musicians of Holland Park State High School’s Instrumental Music program play them all. Performance groups include a concert band, string orchestra and big band, and separate wind, brass, percussion and sax ensembles.

Welfare and personal development: Guidance Officer, School Nurse, Chaplain, Youth Support Coordinator.

Special features: Holland Park State High School students have the opportunity to be part of many programs linking with Universities. High performance volleyball program which offers expert coaching and high level competition for students from Years 7-12.
