Nestled in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, Heathfield High School is in an idyllic setting for local and international students, just 15 minutes from central Adelaide, yet surrounded by bushland that abounds with native flora and fauna. Built in 1963, the school quickly grew to earn a reputation for its commitment to excellence in education. This reputation continues to grow, as the school demands the best from both its teachers and students. The school is committed to innovation and excellence. This commitment challenges us to deliver both quality and diversity in the programs we provide.

There is a strong and cherished sense of tradition, and a genuine pride in the achievements of our past and present students. The Staff work closely with students to understand their interests, abilities and ambitions from a dynamic, richly-resourced program.

The school focuses on the joy of ongoing learning, providing students with the tools to learn and think for themselves, with an aim of unlocking the individual passion in each and every student.
