GLADSTONE HIGH SCHOOL


Gladstone High School is a small country High School in the mid-north of South Australia. Enrolments are currently approximately 215 students (Year 8 to 12) drawn from a large rural area.

Facilities:

GladstoneHigh School has full access to the new stadium built in Gladstone. Lessons will be taken in the adjoined classroom and PE will have full use of courts and change rooms.

Subjects/Electives Years 11 and 12: English, Mathematics, Sciences, Year 11 and 12 Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Media Studies, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Health and Physical Education, Home Economics, Information Technology, Design and Technology, Doorways to Construction, Agriculture, Viticulture.

Sport: Swimming Carnival & Athletics Day, MNSEC Swimming & Athletics, KO Sports.

Extracurricular activities: Camps and excursions, The Gladstone High School Band, the Laura Folk Fair.

Welfare and personal development: SWAT meetings.

Special features: Excellence in agricultural studies, Vocational Education & Training.
