Facilities: Resource Centre, Senior Centre, six science labs, two kitchens: one a Commercial Kitchen and the other for Food Processing, Trade Training Centre (Automotive and Engineering), canteen.

Sport: Knock‐out Sports, inter‐school sport, Sports Day, North and North East Carnival and the SASA Carnival.

Extracurricular activities: Advanced Technologies Project (ATP), Pedal Prix programme, debating, Ice Factor, Ice Hockey programme.

Welfare and personal development: Pastoral Care, Home Groups, two student counsellors, Christian Pastoral Support Worker, Homework Club, QuickSmart numeracy intervention programme, Apprenticeship Brokers, Breakfast programme.

Special features: The school is a Special Interest Music Centre and an Engineering Pathways School. A growing STEM Programme is in place.
