Collinsville State High School, Queensland’s smallest stand-alone state high school is situated in Collinsville, approximately 80 kilometres inland from Bowen, North Queensland. Collinsville is located in the northern region of the Bowen Basin, and local industry is based primarily around coal mining, augmented by a rural component. Collinsville State High School services the town and surrounding rural district, providing education to a range of students, from a diverse selection of backgrounds. As a key educational service provider the school has developed wide ranging partnerships with local companies, businesses and other service providers and is an integral part of our local community.
