BIRDWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Birdwood High School is located in the Adelaide Hills almost 50 Km East of the Adelaide CBD. The school population comes predominantly from 12 feeder schools in roughly a 25 km radius.

Facilities: New facilities for Technology studies, Home Economics, Music and Media, new Performing and Visual Arts centres, facilities for Auto/Engineering & Food Processing, large Gymnasium, contemporary Resource Centre, 4 Computer Laboratories and a range of Junior and Senior Science laboratories, Agriculture Laboratory, vineyard and winery, Conservation Park, canteen, air-conditioned buildings, wheelchair access to a number of buildings and two lifts.

Extracurricular activities: SALA, Year 12 Art at Top of the Torrens, Presentation Night, school bands, vocal groups and individual Instrumental Music lessons, bi-annual School Production and a number of smaller drama productions during the year.
