MELBOURNE RUDOLF STEINER SCHOOL

Founded in 1971, the school is located in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, about 25km from the city centre. Teachers in a Steiner school seek to recognise the unique individuality of every child and, through the curriculum, develop clarity of thought, sensitivity of feeling and strength of will.

Facilities: The school is set on nine hectares of undulating land.

Curriculum: The method of education sees Art and Science as two pathways to truth, bringing fullness and nourishment to people who pursue them. They are inherent in all subjects in order to help students become well-balanced individuals. There are double classes in Years 7 to 12. There is a waiting list for some classes. Students complete VCE.
