MELBA COLLEGE

Melba College was formed in January 2013 when Croydon and Maroondah Secondary Colleges merged in 2012.

Facilities: Melba College has two separate campuses, a junior campus for Year 7 to 9 and a senior campus for students in Years 10 to 12. The college has two gymnasiums, a 250 seat theatre, sports ovals, and music rooms. The college also features specialist rooms including science laboratories, media rooms, a photography darkroom and Arts and Technology rooms.

Curriculum: Melba College believes in a broad curriculum and provides pathways for students through VCE, VCAL and VET programs. The college teaches two languages, German and Japanese, and offers increased choice in the program as they advance.

Sport: Melba College is the current state senior girls champion in squash and offers a wide range of sports including football, soccer, basketball, swimming, athletics, cross-country, badminton, golf, volleyball, softball and cricket for students to enjoy.

Student welfare programs
: The college has a team of wellbeing specialists at the school to support students, offers a range of wellbeing programs and has extensive partnerships with other community agencies and support groups.
