LILYDALE ADVENTIST ACADEMY


Lilydale Adventist Academy is dedicated to holistic education through the nurture of each child’s academic, physical, social and spiritual development. The academy has an open enrolment policy founded on a Christian worldview.

Facilities
: The school is proud of its beautiful campus in the Dandenong Ranges. There is a gymnasium, new science facilities and specific areas for manual subjects such as Art, Technology and Information Technology.

Curriculum: Compulsory Years 7 to 10 subjects are Religious Education, Maths, Science, English, Physical Education, Technology, History, Geography, Art and Music. Woodwork, Life Skills, Metalwork and Photography are also taught.

Extra-Curricular activities: Individual tuition in musical instruments is available and there is a school band and choir. The camp program includes trips interstate and overseas. A range of service-learning activities is also on offer.

Student welfare programs: Students are encouraged to be self-disciplined and are guided with a pastoral care program. School chaplains are part of the program. Students are encouraged to participate in the Student Representative Council. While the school is owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church, there is a diverse range of Christian faiths within the student body.
