Gungahlin College is a government college for Years 11 and 12 students opening in 2011. Year 11 students will be enrolled in the College in 2011 with Year 12 students to follow in 2012. The new $72.4 million Gungahlin College accommodates 950 students and includes a CIT learning centre, a joint college-community library and gymnasium. The college offers a challenging curriculum in a caring environment to meet the needs of all students. Facilities: The college features the latest in sustainable design and includes flexible learning hubs for students, a media centre with TV and photography studios, a performing arts theatre with dance and drama studios, high standard music and arts facilities, a mechatronics suite and computer networking laboratory as well as a full commercial kitchen and wireless technology.
