Wiley Park Girls’ High School is an award-winning, multicultural secondary school committed to providing quality teaching and learning in a caring, supportive and co-operative environment. Wiley Park Girls High School has a proud history of supporting a diverse student population and caters for the needs of all students including Aboriginal students, gifted and talented students and those from a language background other than English. The school has a future-focused compressed curriculum structure and has designed innovative teaching and learning programs to further improve the achievement of learning outcomes for students. It is proud to have implemented the “Positive Behaviour for Learning” (PB4L) framework that helps students, parents and teachers to improve children’s wellbeing and increase educational achievements.

The school understands the importance of having strong links to the local community, and offers community programs to maximise the participation of parents and notable community members in school life. These programs include parent workshops, collaboration in curriculum design, strategies to support learning in the home and celebrating student achievement. The school is also very proud to inspire and support the local community through scholarship programs for incoming Year 7 students.

Special features: STEM classes, compressed curriculum, PB4L programs, special attention is given to the teaching of English across the curriculum and English-as-a-second-language (ESL) team teaching involving a subject teacher and an ESL teacher.
