Broughton Anglican College celebrates 40 years with Community Christmas Fete

Broughton

This year marks a significant milestone for Broughton Anglican College as it celebrates 40 years of Christian education in the Macarthur region. To mark this special occasion, the College is inviting the wider community to celebrate at its 40th Anniversary Christmas Fete on Saturday 28 November 2026, from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.

The event will bring together current and former students, families, staff and friends of the College for a day of Christmas festivities, entertainment and community celebration.

Established in 1986 with just 60 Year 7 students, Broughton Anglican College began with a commitment to providing quality Christian education. From these modest beginnings, the College has grown into a Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 school and an established part of the Macarthur community. As its motto, Life through Christ, declares, the College’s desire remains that every student would come to know Jesus Christ, understand His love for them and develop a personal relationship with Him.

The College’s 40th anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on the people, milestones and experiences that have shaped Broughton over four decades. A special anniversary video, shared with the community earlier this year, provided an opportunity to look back and recognise the students, families and staff who have contributed to the College’s rich history.

The Christmas Fete will bring the community together, with a wonderful range of activities planned for all ages. Visitors can look forward to amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, car and motorbike displays, and a variety of free activities, including mini golf, crafts, giant games and whip cracking demonstrations.

Student performances throughout the day will showcase the talents of Broughton students, while school tours will provide prospective families with an opportunity to explore the College, see its facilities and learn more about the educational opportunities available.

While the College has grown and changed over four decades, its commitment to providing an education that recognises and engages each student as an individual remains central. Through a broad range of academic and co-curricular opportunities, Broughton seeks to develop students’ abilities, character and wisdom for life.

As Broughton looks towards the future, the College remains grateful for the many families, staff and community members who have contributed to its history.

Everyone is welcome to join Broughton Anglican College for this special Christmas celebration, reconnect with old friends, make new memories and celebrate 40 years of education and community.
