LORETO KIRRIBILLI

Established in Sydney in 1892, Loreto Kirribilli is an independent,
Catholic school providing a quality education for girls from Kindergarten to
Year 12, administered by a school council and the Institute of the Blessed
Virgin Mary (Loreto Sisters). The school is committed to the happy, balanced
development of each girl in an environment where Christian values are
appreciated, practised and taught. Loreto Kirribilli is academically
non-selective but has a strong academic tradition and consistently performs
well in public examinations.

Facilities: Multi-purpose hall, performing arts centre, six science
laboratories, ITC rooms (internet access throughout the school and personal email addresses for all students), darkroom,
smartboards, auditorium, gymnasium, weights room, chapel, tennis courts,
recreation areas.

Religious Education is compulsory in all years.

tennis, touch football, volleyball.

Extracurricular activities: Drawing and photography clubs, chamber
strings, choir, concert and stage bands, flute ensemble, Junior and Senior

Welfare and personal development: The school aims to educate beyond
stereotypes. Through a carefully structured personal development program, the
girls are encouraged to discover and build on their natural gifts, to assume
responsibility for leadership and action, and to grow into informed, confident,
spiritually mature women. A full-time school counsellor is available. The
Loreto Vision Program aims to challenge and extend gifted and talented
students, fostering a love of learning and a desire for excellence with
differentiated and appropriate learning outcome for individuals. The Academic
Support Department caters for students with mild intellectual difficulties.
