Cathedral College was founded in 2003 and offers high quality education at a reasonable cost to families in Wangaratta and surrounding regions. The school motto is “Truth and Service” and it aims to encourage students to foster sound Christian values and virtues which will equip them with the wisdom, attitudes, skills and knowledge to lead a fulfilling and productive life, a key aspect of which is service to others.

Facilities: Cathedral College has two campuses: Murdoch Road, (currently Prep to Year 8, but eventually the whole school), and The Close (currently Years 9 to 12).

Curriculum: Cathedral College offers a good range of elective subjects at the VCE and lower levels. It embraces acceleration and curriculum support and has a very broad selection of extra-curricular offerings, including national and international exchanges.

Sport: All students compete in the annual House Music, drama, athletics, cross-country and swimming carnivals. Netball, table-tennis, cricket, football, equestrian and skiing are also offered.

Student welfare programs: The welfare program is based on a vertical House system: community within community. Chaplaincy support is also provided.
